Philips Hue is a line of smart LED lamps and bulbs that can be controlled wirelessly. The Hue line was the first smart bulb of its kind. The Hue system includes smart lights, a Hue Bridge, and smart controls. The Hue system allows you to control your lights from your smart device. You can use voice control through Alexa-enabled devices like Amazon Echo and Amazon Tap. You can also set different light effects according to the music you listen to, the games you’re playing, or the movies you watch. The Hue system uses Zigbee, a wireless communication protocol, to connect to each other and the Hue app. You can connect up to 50 lights throughout your home with a Hue Bridge. If you control your smart lights via Bluetooth, you can only connect up to 10 lights in one room. The Hue system is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and The Google Assistant.
