How Does It Work?

The Okos 4 Gang Switch Module can be plugged into nearly any device by placing it into any switch board, allowing it to be conveniently managed via your iOS/Android smartphone using the Okos Smart App while still keeping your manual wall switches operational.

This lets you to switch on or off any lights with the push of a button along with the App control.

Limitless Uses

The Okos 4 Gang Switch Module can be used either manually or set to a timer allowing you to have your lights and other appliances turned on before you even walk in the door.

Using the Okos Smart App you can receive notifications on the status of your devices directly on your phone.

Versatility

The Okos 4Ch WiFi Smart Switch Module does not override any existing switches that you may have.

You can still turn on your lights and appliances using the traditional switch. In addition, you have control from your phone or at a single voice command. You can also set the behavior of the switch actions in the Switch Settings in the Okos Smart App.

The smart switch module supports two types of external switches with three states. You can modify the type of external switch on the app to adapt to different application scenarios. The following three states are included:

• Rocker switch – Flip to change state: Every time the rocker (wall switch) is pressed, the load state changes instantly. Works like a 2-way switch with the Software Switch (App or Voice Assistant).
• Rocker switch – State synchronous: The switch ON/OFF position is in sync with the load status. A light turns on only if the switch is in the ON position. This will help you keep the light state in sync with wall switch position every time you change. This can help older people, people who don’t know how to operate Smart Home devices or who doesn’t have access to Smart Home App or Voice assistants. It will also help in a Power Outage situation to keep the light state in sync with wall switch position when the power comes back. For example; you are going out for a vacation and some of the lights are ON but, the power line goes off and you have no idea which lights were On. Moreover, you can’t change the light states from App or Voice Assistants as you have lost access. To keep the lights turned OFF, you just have to turn all wall switches to its OFF position and you’re done. This works like the traditional switch wiring and keep the lights turned OFF when the power comes back after you leave the house and you don’t have to keep checking your phone to verify things or take an action.
• Self-reset switch: After you press and release the switch, the switch returns to the initial position, and the load state is changed once. This option helps you use push button switches (like Bell Switch) which goes back to its default position every time you press it. Each push will toggle the light state with this option enabled.
